find F' if f(x) = 1-x/2+x?

the answer is -3/x^2+4x+4

Just wondering why quotient rule wasnt used? i tried quotient rule
because of the question is in division hence quotient rule but I keep
getting wrong answer with the formula below. somebody explain in
